Leisha Murphy is more than a matchmaker—she’s a visionary, a connector, and a strategist who has spent over 25 years transforming lives. As a founding partner of Atlanta Matchmakers, she has built one of the most successful privately owned matchmaking firms in North America, earning a reputation as a trusted leader and industry expert.
Known for her sharp mind, creative problem-solving, and unwavering empathy, Leisha has an extraordinary gift for seeing people clearly—often before they fully see themselves. She doesn’t just introduce clients to potential partners; she helps them reframe their approach to love, guiding them toward the relationship they truly deserve. Her ability to profile, strategize, and connect the dots makes her a master expert in personal transformation. Clients leave their time with Leisha feeling valued, seen, and confident, knowing they are in the hands of an extraordinary professional who is invested in their success.
Her business acumen and leadership have helped Atlanta Matchmakers grow into a powerhouse firm, while her ability to work seamlessly with both male and female clients sets her apart in an industry that demands both emotional intelligence and strategic insight. She is warm, witty, and completely capable of going toe-to-toe in any setting, whether she’s coaching a client or speaking to a national audience.
Leisha and her husband, Les, met in Houston, Texas, before making their home in Atlanta. A Baylor University graduate, she enjoys golf, cooking, art, antiques, travel, and reading. She and Les start their mornings with a workout at the club and enjoy swimming together. Proud Texans at heart, they share a love for great Tex-Mex, a good margarita, and a C&W spin on the dance floor. While they don’t have children, their cute Shih Tzu, Katie, rules the house.

A former fashion industry executive, Lisa has a natural ability to put people at ease—a gift that has shaped her approach to matchmaking. People instinctively open up to her, sensing her genuine curiosity and deep interest in their lives. “I think people can tell I truly love hearing their stories—what they value, what they aspire to, and what they’re really looking for,” she says. This ability to connect on a meaningful level allows her to guide clients toward relationships that are not just successful, but deeply fulfilling.
Lisa’s sharp intuition, warm personality, and expert matchmaking skills have made her a transformative force in the lives of thousands. Known among her team as the “Date Whisperer,” she has an uncanny ability to help clients shift their perspective on dating, recognize patterns they may not see, and approach relationships with renewed confidence. Her unique gift for breaking down barriers and sparking pivotal “aha” moments helps clients move forward with clarity and purpose.
After 20+ years in Atlanta, Lisa and her husband, Bill, relocated to Savannah, GA, embracing the Lowcountry lifestyle. When she’s not matchmaking, coaching clients, or collaborating with her team, she enjoys golf, pickleball, entertaining, and mornings in her garden or greenhouse. A proud stepmother to three incredible young adults, Lisa and Bill cherish time with their boy/girl twins and their daughter, a nurse in Charleston—one of whom is married (no grandkids yet, but they can’t wait!). Lisa returns to Atlanta regularly for in-person client meetings, ensuring her deep connections within the city remain as strong as ever. Originally from Texas, Lisa is a Baylor University graduate.
